Our team specializes in the pre-surgical diagnosis of structural, not amenable to therapeutic treatment of forms of epilepsy. The laboratory for the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy is equipped with all the necessary equipment to conduct the most informative, long-term scalp, as well as invasive (stereo) video-EEG monitoring.
Together with the doctors of the department of radionuclide diagnostics, for the most accurate localization of the epileptogenic focus of MR-negative patients, we successfully realize the possibility of conducting such a study as SPECT (using the SISCOM protocol).
The laboratory is located in a hospital, which allows, through round-the-clock on-duty neurologists and the intensive care team, to achieve control over the situation, even during the status course of epileptic seizures.
A fundamental factor for high-quality diagnostic search and timely surgical care is the coordinated work of the entire anti-epileptic team: the close cooperation of the epileptologist with the neurosurgical service from the first meeting with the patient to the performed surgical operation.
On the basis of the Pirogov National Medical and Surgical Center, clinical trials are held weekly for each patient together with leading epileptologists and neurosurgeons of Moscow, which creates favorable conditions for the exchange of views and experience in each particular case, which allows determining the most appropriate tactics for getting rid of attacks in most cases.

How to reach us by using public transport
“Pervomaiskaya” metro station (last carriage of the train out of the city centre). From “Pervomaiskaya” metro station by any tram or trolley bus go to the stop “15th Parkovaya Street”. Go along the 15th Park Street to the intersection with the Nizhnyaya Pervomaiskaya Street, turn left and walk about a hundred meters to the entrance of the Pirogov National Medical and Surgical Center.
